McINTYRE inverness Scotland to Ebor NSW Aust.

Lachlan MCINTYRE was born in Inverness Scotland 1826 to Martin McINTYRE and Mary McDONALD.
Lachlan married Jean Jane ANDREW 1858 Glasgow Scotland, daughter of James ANDREW and Mary SHEDDEN. Jean was born in Beith Ayr Scotland.1827 And was one of 8 children.
Lachlan and Jean came to NSW Australlia 1860.
Lachlan and Jean settled in Guy Fawkes and were one of the earliest settlers at Hernani.
Lachlan was fluet speaking in Gaelic.
He called his property Glencoe (i suspect after Scotland)
Lachlan and Jean had 5 children, Martin, William, James, Mary and Margaret.
Mary married Joseph ELKS.
Margaret married Thomas GOODWIN.
The ELKS family now manage and own the Hernani station.
Margaret's brother martin married Thomas Goodwins Sister Louise.
The GOODWIN and MCINTYRES were neighbours on the land.
James married Emily FULLER, of Grafton NSW.
Lachlan died in 1886 at Glencoe Guy fawkes. and Jean died at Hillgrove in 1890.
I would love to hear from any family connected to these familys.
Lachland death certificate says his mother is Mary MCDONNELL.

FREER of Desborough, Weldon Northamptonshire England

William FREER married Alice (possibly CARR) abt 1816.
William was born 1764 in Desborough to Thomas Freer and Ann SAGE, He was one of 9 children that i have found so far.
His siblings being Thomas, Grace, Ann, Mary, Catherine, Ann, Sarah and Hannah.
William and Alice had at least 2 children. i suspect there is more. And posibly Alice was Williams 2nd wife.

Jonathon William Freer was born 1817 in Great Weldon. He later mooved to Swindon and was on the railways there, where he learnt his trade, married and had a huge family of his own.
Jonathon mooved to Adelaide Australia in 1859 when South Australia needed tradesmen to build the railways. Along with his many sons that came with him.

Jonathon had a sister Ann born abt 1815 who married Henry Fox and lived in Great Weldon Where there were children born.

William died 1821.
Alice was with a Charles Greasding Gilby, and had a child to him in 1824.
Alice is useing FREER in 1841 census.

William had grandparents, Thomas Freir and Mary.
Thomas and Mary had 5 children, including Williams father Thomas.

Elizabeth married Thomas HAZELDINE 1741.
Grace married Thomas WARD/WOOD. 1748.
George married Mary ROWTHORN.
John married Mary SMITH 1772. If they spent Christmas together, this would have made for interessting conversation with so many Marys, Thomas's. I am a decendant of Jonathon.

I have been researching FREER for 10 years.
I would love to hear from decendants of the same familys.
