Where are you John Mackenzie (Jock)

Well, I'm still looking for information on John MACKENZIE, I have spent hours looking for a clue to trace this man. Not having a middle name makes finding someone more difficult, I think! So many John Mackenzie's. What do I know about him - He served in WW1, he survived Gallipoli. He was a police constable in the Police strike in 1923. He was married twice, but I don't know their names, unfortunately. He lived in Armadale, Victoria. He had one son Thomas Timothy MACKENZIE, born in Richmond in 1923. He don't seem to have achieved very much, but will keep looking. John Mackenzie is my children's great grandfather. I really want to find him and his parents. He was born in Scotland. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
