elphinstone on Family Tree Circles

William Knapp (full name William Ernest Beaumont Knapp), born 1878, sent from England to Belleville, Ontario (Marchmont Home),as a "Home child" in 1892; worked on the Dracup farm at Wellmans Corners, Hastings County, until about 1896, following which no more information has been found. Does this "ring a bell" with anyone?
When last heard of (1896) he was learning cheese-making.
