My dad is Edward W Bartolet B 1941

His mother, my grandmother was Florence Victoria Baer (Stump, Bartolet, and Pyles). Born in 1909 Died about 2009. Possibly an only child.

Her parents were (and here is my brick wall):

William Arthur Baer born about 1880, unk where he was born. Unk when he died. Unk parents. Unk siblings

Ada Snow born about 1885, unk where she was born, Unk when she died. Unk parents. Unk siblings.

It was almost as if this couple appeared when their daughtr was born. My grandmother refused to discuss anything of the past. My understanding is that her parents, my ggrandparents died at an early age. My father and Aunt's knew nothing of their grandparents. No one knows of any siblings (Aunts or Uncles) their mother may have had.
All I have of my grandmother is her birth certificate that lists place of birth as Freedom Township, Ohio.
I have not even been able to locate a census for the area. It even makes it more difficult as I live in Florida and my local library Geneaology center is extremely limited at what records they maintain.

I am hoping that someone out there has run into this couple...they may have had siblings, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
