I am looking for the parents of James Gibson who was married in 1890 to Amelia Sarah Gross.I believe they lived in Belmore NSW,Australia.James is my paternal great grandfather.I don't know his birth or death date and whether he paid to come to Australia or came out at Her Majesty's pleasure.I would also like to know anything about his life and profession.

My name is Keith Edwin Gibson.I have been doing research into my family history for some time and have already traced some of my ancestors back to the early 18th century.My father was Edwin Christian Gibson and my mother is Shirley Gladys Gibson (Nee Barford)My paternal grandmother was Gladys Stott MacFadgyen and my paternal Grandfather was William Christian Gibson.I have found out quite a bit about the MacFadgyens and the Barfords but come to a dead halt when looking for my paternal grandfather's ancestors.I would be very grateful for help here.I have heard that he was born in Crookwell,NSW,Australia and lived at Bexley,NSW for most of his life.I know that he married my grandmother in 1917 and that they had 9 children.After the death of my grandmother I believe my grandfather lived with his brother,Sib on Dangar Island on thr Hawesbury River.4/5/13
