Looking for Parents of a Hiram Parrish born 1819 in Lowndes County, GA

The problem is there were two men with this same name born in the same decade, in the same place; they both migrated to Florida and married, and both fought in the Civil War. Even though they lived in different parts of the state, there is a lot of confusion. Our Hiram married Sarah Elizabeth West from SC. Can any one assist?

Looking for Parrish and Bryant/Thornton in SE United States; Sanders from NC, and Others

Hello, I'am retired (since 2007), and have been researching my family tree on my maternal and paternal lines. Even though I have an ancestry.com account, there are lots of unanswered questions!

-I know that my Great-Grandfather Green Berry Bryant's parents were Francis/"Frank" and Catherine Thornton Bryant, and that he died in 1906 in Baker County FL. We don't know what happened to Catherine. We also are looking for the names of their parents. Francis was born in SC; Catherine in GA.

-My maternal G-Grandmother Candace Phillips Parrish was an orphan, born in GA, and raised by my g-g-grandparents Hiram and Sarah Parrish in Florida. (She married their son Robert) Who were her birth parents? We may never know!

-Also, John Sanders, grandfather of my Grandfather John A. Sanders/Saunders. We know he came to FL from NC along with Asa Hatch Rhodes, and that he married Nancy Charlescraft. Asa married her sister Naomi. I am unable to find John's parents in NC- too many John Sanders in the records!

I'm hoping to find some answers!
