Samuel Charles Stone AL, TX

My great-grandfather Samuel Charles/Charles Samuel was born in Calhoun County, Alabama May 25, 1865 and died in Martins Mill, Texas March 14, 1939. He was married to Eliza (Liza) Jane Lee also from Alabama. Samuel was married before Eliza Lee and had children. I believe that his first wife died since the children live with him and Eliza. I believe that Samuel's father was R.C. Stone born abt 1835 maybe in Alabama and he was married to Mary ?. Mary was born abt 1838 in South Carolina. Can anyone give me any information on them?

My grandfather Ross Grabial Harris born Oct 22, 1883 in Boone County, (some say Arkansas and some say Missouri) died Aug 30, 1951 in Hackberry, Louisiana. Ross was married to Mary Ellen Wheeler b May 8, 1893 and died May 17, 1974 in Hackberry, Louisiana. They were married 9/11/1908 in Sherman, Texas. Mary was Ross' 2nd or 3rd wife. He was also married to Eva Logan also in Sherman, Texas and Maggie Olds b. Jan 1885, Texas.

Ross and Mary had the following children: Johnnie Grabial (my dad), Mary Lorene, Dollie Louise, Rossie Clyde, June Mae, and Josephine Elizabeth.

Ross was the son of Pinkney Marcus Harris b abt 1840 in Roberson, TN bef 1910. He was married to Mary M Wiggins b abt 1850 in Missouri City, Fort Bend, TX and died after 1920 (I believe she died in Tx).

Pinkney(Pink) and Mary had the following children: Mary Emma Harris b 1868, Marcus Pinkney b 1874, Ross Grabiel b 1883 and Ollie D b 1891. Mary or Ollie married a Grider.

The Harris family has a way of changing their names. Ex: Ross Grabiel was known as R.G. or G.R. One of my aunts was legally Josephine Elizabeth but called Betty Sue. My brother was Douglas John and called Johnny Doug. Another aunt Dollie May is legally Dollie Louise.
