My Name is Greg L. Gatts, son of George & Evelyn Lafferty-Gatts Born Sept.1968,next to the youngest of seven children, I am researching Family History and Genealogy for the following names: Gatts-Traverse-Crow-Lemons- (Father Side),Lafferty-Maple-Craig-Dotson (Mothers Side). Any info or stories about Grand Parents will be appreciated....My Grand fathers name is listed as heading, I was told he worked at a potato farm in Plainfield Ohio???..This is where my Parents Burial is located because Plainfield was their old "Stomping Grounds" as Mom used to say..lol.. Mom used to tell me stories of swimming in Birds Run and Getting a flat on their Model T Ford, Dad and her and Uncle John and Aunt Esther Gatts filled the tire with stones to get them home!!!!!.

I need help with my Grandpa Lafferty,William George B.Lafferty was his full name and born april,25,1889 in westmoreland County PA. to William George and Annie (Craig)Lafferty William was born in Philadelphia City in March 1857 and Annie Craig was born in October of 1856 somewhere in PA. the Cenceus dont say Where?

My Great Grandma was Isabelle Lussal B;7-29-1872,dod:3-26-1940, she Married Curnel Maple @ Coshocton Co. in 1893,,,Her Parents were Steven and Martha (Patterson)Lussal,both born in Ohio according to 1900 Cenceus Records however I can't locate many other record of Steven and Martha?,,,,any help out there?????

Frances Crow (my grandma),was born in Bethany,Brooke,W.VA on Dec. 14,1900 and Passed on 11-17-1947....Her Burial is at Kadesh Chapel in Beech Bottom W.VA. She had 9 siblings ,Doctor Mckinley,Hely,Charles,Robert,John,James,Ruth,Annie,Verge...and yes Doctor Mckinley was his first,middle name???? his twin was James both born on 9-18-1896, Their Parents were Benjamin and Mary Jane (Cole)Both born in PA. but dont know where at!!!!! Also Benjamin's Parents list only Peter Crow or Crawe?? I think Crawe was a typeo on Bens Death Record but not sure,,,,Mary Cole's parents was Barine and Martha (Rancor)Cole,,,any info on Rancor from PA. or Cole from PA. will be appreciated......

Seeking Info on Harry Wilson Craig,His Parents was Charles (chick) Craig and ???? Allender-Craig from Florence or Hazard KY. area, Harry had brothers named Albert ,Joe,Arty possiblely Arthur Craig,William Asbury Craig, sister Mary Craig-Yeager,and possiblely Virginia and Emma (need help on this also),,,,,Harry W. Craig married Elva (Billie) Wilson she had 2- brothers John, Tom and a sister Adeline all from Paden City or Sisterville W.VA. Anyone with Birthdates or other Info PLease comment.....

I am so happy on the recent news i found on the Gatts side of my Family!!! I learned from my aunt Margaret Gatts Almack that my grandfather's full name was Claude Robert James Gatts born 11-19-1892
His parents were Samuel and Margret/Charlott Lemmons-Travis-Gatts,I believe they lived in Marshall W.V.? I am seeking info for Samuel and Margaret or Charlott.
I found out my grandpa Gatts had brothers- Frank, John and rumor of a Alex?
He had 2 step-sisters Martha and Emma Jane Lemmons,I also found a Clarence Eugene Gatts son of Frank on the Web,according to his research my Great-Grandma's name was Charlott???? not Margaret???

Hello again,,,,I am trying to research my Grandfather his name was Claude Robert James Gatts I believe he orginated out of Pennsylvania and moved to W.VA. but could be wrong on that!!
He married Francis Pricilla Crow and lived in W.VA. until she past on due to Cancer in the year of 1949 +/-, Claude moved to Coshocton Co. Ohio and remarried Goldie Shanefelt,I have not heard of any children from this marriage but however Claude and Francis had Margaret,Harry,John,George(my father),and Ruth, I was told they were raised on or around McCords Hill W.VA., I have some pics I will post soon for you to see, approx. 1940 when they were taken....

Hello, I am researching my Grandmothers Maiden name, any info will be greatly appreciated. Her full name was Francis Pricilla Crow, I was told that she was from Bethany W.VA. but that is all I have so far!! I was told by my Father she past on when he was 17 yrs. old of Breast Cancer so that would put the D.O.D at 1949?, I learned more see comment below!!!
