I am trying to find Dana Wyman Warren's death record or where or how died. He was my 2nd Great Aunts (Dessie Anna Robertson) husband, they divorced abt 1919. He was naughty with another women Clara Graham and Dessie sued Clara $2,000 and won. The family story is that Dana drowned in the flood of St. Louis but there is no proof of this and I am wondering if that wasn't a cover up story or maybe his own story to start a new life. Dana & Dessie had 5 children and she was left to raise the young ones alone.
In 1917 her second youngest son took off with 3 friends from Iowa to St. Paul, MN and they went on a robbery spree that ended with a police officer being killed. He was sentenced to 5 years in Stillwater prison. Then poor Dessie had a granddaughter Ruth Beverly Wood who was born with Down Syndrome and died at age 3 years old.


Then I am also looking for the birthplace of Dessie's grandfather.

John Edgar Robertson born 10 MAr 1804 in Kentucky (WHERE?????) died 26 Feb 1879 in Washington, IA he was married to Abigail "Abby" Cowen born 13 nov 1812 Kentucky (WHERE???)
died 22 Jul 1838 in Kentucky near Nashville, TN of childbirth. Presuming burial in Carlisle, Nicholas, Ky I do not have this verified yet.
I have 4 known children.

Mary Frances Robertson b.2 Feb 1832 KY d. 20 Jul 1904 Kansas married 26 Oct 1853 in Knox, Ohio. To david Glenn born 1826 PPA died 1860 Morning Sun, Iowa
One child known: Zelda Amenia Glenn

Rachel Ann Robertson b 5 Nov 1833 KY died MAr 1870 Louisa County, Iowa. Burial Morning Sun, Iowa in Louisa County. Married William L Linn (Have no date) He was born 16 Jan 1826 Kelly, Union, PA died Greenfield, Adair, Iowa both buried in Greenfield Cemetery they had 6 known children

Hugh Mayne Robertson b 13 Apr 1836 Ky died 12 JUl 1863 in Jackson, Hinds, MS.
He was never married and had no issue. explosion of a shell during the Civil War.

Alexander Cowen Robertson (My 2nd great grandfather)b.8 jul 1838 in KY d. 20 May 1896 in Sioux City, IA he married Elizabeth Jane Cavit born 26 Aug 1843 in Beaver Dam, PA died 8 Feb 1903 in Sioux City, IA. They had 11 children

Any help at all would be so grateful. I don't think there's a 1850 Kentucky census I have looked everywhere online and maybe someday when I have the means I will have to go to Kentucky and figure this brick wall out. Other family members have also tried and we can not find the place in Kentucky they lived or where born. No records found yet at all from this state. UGH

James William Mulkey born 1740 in Catawba, NC and died 1796 in Wilkes, NC. This is where my husbands Mulkey line ends.

It begins with his great-grandfather George Alfred Ryburn who was born 5 MAy 1864 in Plano, Knox, IL and in Sandwich, IL. His parents were Matthew Neil Ryburn & Charlotte "Lottie" Cornelia Mulkey. This is where our journey began in our research. We have found some lovely photo's and we are always willing to share.
