halie on Family Tree Circles

Kia Ora. My name is Halie Taumaunu and im looking for my whanau. My grandfather was Haare Taumaunu, died 1993. My father Ivan James Taumaunu, died 1994. Dads brother Ringapoto Taumaunu and I are the only ones left from our immediate family. If anyone can help me with my background and where i am from i would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

The story has been told to me like this:
My grandfather (Haare Taumaunu) lived in Ruatoria until he was 18years old, he ran away from home for an unknown reason, and never spoke of his past or his family. He worked at the Longburn freezing works in the Manawatu (I think it would have been around the late 1950s- early 1960s). He then met and married my grandmother Bessie Kahurangi Kawana (also known as Honey Kawana). They had 2 children Ivan and Ringapoto Taumaunu.
