My great-great-grandmother was Emily Hoopiiaina,who married a Mahoe.they had children. One of the them was my great-grandmother,who also had chilren,in which my grandmother clara mahoe-peterson was one of the children that gave birth to my dad Harvey S. Mahoe-until his great-grandmother that raised him from birth to about 17,18 years of age changed hhis last name from mahoe to hoopiiaina. my name is harvelynn k. hoopiiaina and i'm the second born daughter of harvey hoopiiaina & olivia l.kalilikane-hoopiiaina. i had an older sister ruth p.kalilikane 1965 to 1982, she carried my mom's maiden name because my parents was not married at that time,then me 37,my brother edward k.k.hoopiiaina 35,then our baby brother solomon p.hoopiiaina 34
