Looking for decendants of Wilhelm RUDOLPH who was a German Sailor that visited our country in the 1800's and married Huia in Kaeo, Northland New Zealand, our Marae is also named after Huia (Te Huia Marae) in Pupuke and from their relationship started off our "Whanau" The "RUDOLPH's" from Pupuke, it is believed that Wilhelm was from Germany and he was from the "Wolf" Clan, would anyone have information on how I could contact our "relatives" in Germany, I am the eldest son of John Pihema RUDOLPH and his Dad, my Grandad was Thomas RUDOLPH all hail from Pupuke, Kaeo, Far North, New Zealand, when I was very young I was, as well as my sister Breena RUDOLPH were given to our Mum's parents, David and Cecelia TATANA our surnames were then changed by deed pole to TATANA from RUDOLPH as both my sister and I were now brought up by our Grandparents. I am currently trying to establish contact through this site to contact as many of our "Whanau/Family" members as I can to bring everyone together or at least keep in contact regarding "Family" issues and also getting to know one another, both here and in Germany as well.
