Hextall Family History

I have been researching my family name now for some time. As a young lad I remember asking my Family why are we the only Hextall`s living around here (there were no other Hextall's living in our district) and where does my surname come from? You guessed right nobody had a clue. So really I have always had an interest in Genealogy and Our Family History. I was born in Coalville in Leicestershire 28 June 1953, I left the Coalville area in March 1974 and moved to Scotland to a small town called Denny, and this is in Stirlingshire. The move was for me to be closer to my then girl friend a bonnie Scottish lassie called Jean; we met while on holiday in Spain 1974. We married 27/9/1975 and we have three children Cheryl, Michelle, and Liam they are all grown and away from home now.
I am carrying out a One name research study and building up as much interesting information about the name Hextall as possible spelling variations of this family name include: Hextall Hextale, Heckstall, Heckstal, Extall, Extell, Extale, Hexstall, Exstall, Heckstall, Heckstal and Hextell.
I would like to think that all off this fully filed and computerized data would become a free reference point for anyone wishing to gain information about their own Hextall Family Roots.
I now have many interesting details about this family name going back to the 1200 century. With around 3,000 connected Hextall family members in my own Familytree with Branches in England I .e Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire, London and West Riding of Yorkshire.
So far I have kept in touch with Hextalls families from all over the U.K and around the world with their branches returning back to and connecting with my own Familytree I.e Canada, America, Australia and New Zealand.
A lot of this information if not most is not on any web site and never will be via myself and it is my wish that any information I may supply wont be added to Pay per view sites or posted on the Internet and is kept for personal family use only. I don't wish anyone to make a financial gain from this data. I have and do spend long hours as you may note from the timing of this email, researching on this hobby/quest of mine.
I must add that without the help and data input from good senior friends Keith Hextall (Sapcote, Leic's) & Frank Hextall (Barford, Warwick sadly no longer with us), my research would have been so much harder.
I was hoping that you would like to help in acquiring some details that I may add to my research data I.e. Your family member's connections, old family photos, interesting family history stories. Please note that permission must be given if you are supplying details of a living Family Member Remember this information is for your family branch and your Hextall Family generations yet to come. I do not pass any family data to Hextall's out with your family branch unless you give me permission to do so.
Did you know we have Royal links with the Royal Tudors family after the Battle of Bosworth, And that there is a c1200 church with beautiful stained glass Windows dedicated to the Hextall` family (photo's) Hextalls were M.P`s also Mayors of Dover and lived in Dover Castle.
You may wish to ask questions about the Hextall family name. I will do my best to answer a.s.a.p all email's that I receive at ian.hextall@btinternet.com I hope that you may spare some time to reply to my email. If you feel that at this time it is not possible that's fine.
Would you please perhaps help me with some details of someone that might wish to help with this surname re-search?

Very Kind Regards Ian
