IWolf on Family Tree Circles

All we know of William SCOTT is that he lived in Mississippi with his family when he went back to SC or around there in 1794 to take care of some paper work from his father's death. He was on his way back when he and 2 of his nepnews (John & James PETTIGREW) died from the hands of the Indian's in Ala. He did have a daughter born in Va. and a son born in SC. By a DNA test we are related to a John SCOTT in Newberry, SC. I don't know what the connection is? And also one from Ky.

I will be glad to share with anyone that has the same connection or might be able to help.
I would love anything on the SCOTT family's that are from SC and NC and VA and Mississippi. ( and KY.)
