My name is Sherwin Jacobson. I am researching my family (Motew/Moteff) from I believe around Odessa Russia area. I am a grandson of Jules (aka Julius) Motew (born about 27 Nov 1881) and Ida Becker (Bet. 1882?1884). Jules parents were Solomon Moteff and Sylvia nee unknown maiden last name. My grandmother Ida Becker?s parents were Isaac Becker and Laya nee unknown last maiden name. Jules mother Sylvia and Ida?s mother Laya were sisters. Jules had the following siblings that I know about were; Peter, and Max. I believe that Ida had 11 brothers. Of the 11 brothers 10 died early and one who we think was named Gersch Becker who lived, but we cannot locate him. Ida was the youngest of the children. Jules and Ida had the following children Celia (Sylvia), Max, Anne (Chana), and Rose.
