Garnham of Belstead, Suffolk

I am looking for the family of James Garnham bc 1783, died 1850s, in Belstead, Carpenter, who married Elizabeth bc 1791 in Brantham, Suffolk and who died 1871-1881 in Belstead.

They had quite a lot of children including George bc 1828 in Belstead and William bc 1830 in Belstead. Both these sons were Carpenters also and both left Suffolk for Poplar, London.

I am descended from George bc 1828.

Anyone with any information of the Garnham family from Belstead - please respond to: sandjbowen17@hotmail.com

For a friend I am trying to research his family and I have got back to his grandfather, Samuel Ard, who was born in Ireland c. 1877. Samuel married Florence in Birmingham in 1896 and had three children before 1901 - William Leonard and Florence B.

Any information on this family would be gratefully received.

Bowen in Ireland and India

I am looking for the parents of William Atkins Bowen born in Cork, Ireland around 1791. He had siblings Catherine born Cork, Eliza, Thomas and Frances, the last three of which could have been born in Bristol.

William Atkins was a captain of steamers which plied the London/Portsmouth to India route and married a Julia Louisa Clarke.

It could be that my William Atkins Bowen was a member of the Bowens Court Bowens of Cork.

Any information would be gratefully received.

Budden in Dorset, England

So far my Budden family is traced back to 1626 to Wimborne, Dorset through a line with many having the Christian name Luke.

The family remained around the Wimborne/Canford Magna area for many generations and then my particular part moved to Newtown, near Kinson/Talbot Village (north of Bournemouth).

If there is anyone who is researching the same line, then please contact me. However, I do know of 4 other Buddens families around the Wimborne area which, at the moment are unconnected to mine.

Hawkins in Dorset, England

My family tree in Dorset, England goes back to Betty who gave birth to an illegitimate son, Thomas, in 1753 in Bere Regis, Dorset. The family, over the generations, moved from Bere Regis/Affpuddle to Stoborough/Arne, to East Stoke/Wool, to Alton Pancras, to Pimperne, then a journey to Brazil and back again to England by 1865 where they then settled in Kinson/Talbot Village.

I am lookin for any descendents, etc. so please contact me.
