Hello my name is Jonathan Allen, Im from Murfreesboro, TN. Iam looking for Birth and Death Records of John Goodman to find out who his parents are.

I enclosed some information that i have so far on John Goodman, for you search.

his parents, whom are not to be found . John was born abt May 1825-1826 in Virginia, and died March 26, 1904 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He Married (2) Caroline Walker. He married (1) Margaret Walker February 12, 1857 in Anderson County, Tennessee. She was born 1835 in Anderson Count, TN and Died Abt 1892 in Anderson County, Tennessee.


John Goodman worked as a farmer before he was enlisted in the Civil War. He served in the Civil War May 28, 1863 of Somerset, Kentucky. He was a private in the 9th/11th Tennessee Cavalry. Captain Huddleston discharged John in Sepetmber 1865, in Knoxville, KY. He lived in Campbell County, Tennessee. After Margaret died. He remarried (2)Caroline Walker July 09, 1893.
