I am hoping to trace Bridget T'Ryelly (O'Reilly) who came to New Zealand on the FernGlen in 1879. Note there were approx 53 passengers on this ship unnamed and she was one of them. Bridget would have been about 20 years of age at the time and travelled with her two sisters, Ellen and Catherine. She was born in Tipperary Ireland.
I am looking to trace John McGinity - he married Sarah Webb in Greymouth New Zealand on 4 June 1872. He was born in 1840 - other than that I have no further information. He would be my great grandfather.
I am looking for further information on Margaret Heenan born 1830 in Ireland and who died 1898 in Hokitika New Zealand. She was the wife of John Heenan - they presumably married in Ireland - I would love to know her maiden name, her parents and where they came from. (I have details of their children) John may have come from Offaly. They left Liverpool for Australia on the Morning Star and lived in Australia for a while.
I am looking to trace my great great grandfather John Dooling born Ireland 1810, father of Daniel Dooling born 1844 Baltinglass Wicklow ( I think he had a sister Mary who went to Australia)he eventually came to New Zealand where he married Ellen O'Ryelly (born 1858 in Tipperary) Ellen went to New Zealand with her sisters Bridget and Catherine and disembarked either Napier or Nelson. Also trying to find details of her parents William (born 1835 and Ellen Walsh (born 1838. Am also looking for a marriage for John Dooling (in Ireland).
I am looking to trace John Heenan born Ireland (we think) about 1813 - he married Margaret surname unknown at this stage - (born about 1815 - probably in Ireland; she died in Hokitika Westland new Zealand in 1898. John died in Hokitika Westland New Zealand in 1895. One child we know of - David Alexander Heenan ( 1866 - 1895) I think they lived in Dunganville, Westland New Zealand before moving to Hokitika. They were in the shoe business. Trying to find how they came to NZ - we are fairly certain they came from Liverpool to Melbourne on the 'Morning Light'. Any info greatfully received
