4th. GGfather Thomas EATHER 1764-1827 arrived on the Neptune 1790
4th. GGmother Elizabeth LEE 1771-1860 arrived on the Mary Ann 1791

2nd. GGfather John HOULAHAN 1809-1860 arrived on the Java 1833 Irish Rebel

If I consider their syblings and cousins the total is 18.
And this is just my mother's side of the tree!

None of them were ponsey 'steal a hankie from a toff' convicts or children unfairly treated, but ridgy didge convicts and Britain was glad to see the back of them.
I'm proud of my ancestors, not because they were hand picked by some of the very best judges and magistrates in England, but for their contribution in building a great country.
