My grandmother was Bridget Phillips botn 21 September 1874 to James Phillips and Bridget Feely Phillips of County Sligo, Sligo South, Tubbercurry, Achonry, Cully.
In 1901 her father James Phillips was 78, mother Bridget Feely Phillips was 60, and a son Patrick age 32, James age 28 and Ellen age 19 were still living at home.
Bridget and at least one sister Mary left Ireland and lived in Brookline Massachusetts. Bridget married Thomas Kane.
Please contact me with any information that you have on the Phillips or Feely family.
My Grandfather was Thomas Kane son of William Kain and Sarah Kelly Kain born 1876 in Keerane (Barna/Gallway). Thomas lived in Brookline MA and East Walpole MA, had siblings also living in Brookline/Boston, including Patrick Keane, Julia Kane Shine, Anne Kane and Andrew.

Census also states that Sarah had 11 children all living in 1911. I have only identified 10. CK in Ireland identified this missing sibling as a daughter named Sarah and that she also came to the USA.
I have found records that Thomas, Anne, Andrew, Patrick and Julia all came to USA
Looks like Bartley, Colman, John, William, James stayed in Ireland.
I have been told that Saint Josephs in Rahoon may have the birth/death and marriage certificates. I have not found these on line, can anybody help?
If you are related and can help me to identify the missing parts please let me know. The best way to contact me by email to: [email protected] In the subject line please put Kain,Kane,Keane.
Thank you CK for responding, and CF (a native of Barna) and also to BK for speaking with me about the family.
