All the dates and names match except for spelling of surname. It has not been documented. Er could be an addition in German from Breuning to Breuninger to Bruninger. I have seen several spellings of Brinegar, Bringer, Breuninger, Brunninger, Bruninger, Brineger, et. al. Adding er
in German translated: "from" e.g. Breuninger means "from Breuning" and Breun with the ing may have meant "of (or) from the family of weaponmakers"
