Looking for info on Thomas Hustler a solidier in the Revolutionary War & War of 1812 (switched sides from British to American). Also trying to find out if his daughter (Rachel Hustler) had any Indian blood. Was captured by the Indians with her mother.
Her mother, Catherine (Cherry) Hustler, was released a short time later, I believe, but the child was held for about six years. Was mother or daughter part Indian? Rachel married into the Churchill family and was the mother of JTH (Joseph Thomas Hustler) Churchill.
