I am looking for my great grandfather's parents. His name was William Cox, born in Golden, Adams county IL @ 1845. I have traced him back to 1850 census. It shows him living in Madison County, Madison, MO. He is 5 yrs old, living with two families Collier
and Acres. I found a letter written by Janet Cox on Adams County ILGenWeb entitled Cox - Collier Family History. So I assume there is a connection there, but I've hit a Brick Wall. I would like any help I can get.
Jerry Cox family.
The following is all the info I have on my family. I am Jerry Ray Cox born in 1937 Married to Evelyn Beryl McMaster Cox, 05/24/1958. We have 2 children, Timothy P. Cox 03/14/1959. Our daughter is Terri C. Cox Bondy 06/29/1963. My parents were Floyd A. Cox & Birdie B. Vineyard Cox. Married in Malden, MO @ 1928. My grand parents were William M. Cox & Harriet (Hattie)Turner Cox. They were married in Mason, IL 01/07/1906. They had 13 children. The ones I know of are Floyd, Howard, Ola, Willard, Clifford, Ruby, Bessie, Alma, Alberta, Gladys, Dorothy, and Shirley. They were all born in Missouri. near Greeville, Hiram, & Malden.
I have one brother. Bobby D. Cox 12/07/1941. He has two sons. Micheal & Mark. Neither have any children.
If you have any other information, especially regarding William & Nancy Jane Kitchen Cox. I woul sure appreciate it.
