Looking for any info on my great grandfather Bernard John Phillips.
Born in Ballaghadarreen, County Mayo, Ireland, c1843. Father's name:
Patrick, Mother's name: Ellen Tansey.

Bernard immigrated to Australia c1853, married Mary Ellen Doolan in 1888 in Bairnsdale Victoria, where he died in 1918.

Ellen b. 1888
Charles Henry b. 1891
Marguerite/Margaret b. 1892
Nicholas b. 1893 d. 1898
Gerald Patrick Doolan b. 1900 (my grandfather)

If you can add any info I would be forever grateful, as I've hit a brick wall with finding any info on Bernard.
