I have been looking for any information on Albert Marcie (Marcy) Fitzgerald. The only information I have currently is that of word of mouth from my mother. According to her, as a child he was born an 'Anderson' and because the Fitzgerald's took him as their own he adopted the name of 'Fitzgerald'. I haven't discovered if this story is true or not. He lived in Tennessee and married Eula Jewell Nevada Fisher. They were share croppers most of their lives in Tennessee, especially around the Williamson-Maury County area. They had seven children, one of which is my mother. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the story of my past few years of researching the family:

My mother, who married Charles Paul Steavenson Bozeman always told us about her family tree. This got me started to trying to locate information about my father's side as he never mentioned any of the family and I never knew them with the exception of my grandmother, Clyde Estelle Bennett and Archie Steavenson Bozeman and the knowledge I have of them are fleeting as I was young when I met them.

My mother's side of the tree has the Beard's and Fisher's. My grandmother was Eula Jewell Nevada Fisher and her husband was Albert Marcie Fitzgerald. The story goes that he was born Albert Marcie Anderson and somehow got with the Fitzgerald's and took on their name. I do not know if he was adopted or just took on the last name of Fitzgerald. He had dark hair and a slender build. Was a share cropper in Tennessee. Mostly around Williamson, Dickenson, Maury and other surrounding counties. I have tons of information on my grandmother, Eula Jewell Nevada Fisher's side, but none on the Fisher's. Most of my information is on the Beard's as she was the daughter to Palestine Beard and Charlie Adam Fisher.

My Bozeman line ends with my father, Charles Paul Steavenson Bozeman. The only information I have is that his father's name was: Archie Steavenson Bozeman born in Alabama and his mother's name was: Clyde Estelle Bennett born in Guiles County, TN. Both about 1906.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
