Looking for any available information on John / Margaret Hagan of Fayette Co., PA. John was born 1788 in Derry County, Ireland. He came to U.S. 1807 to Philadelphia. Came with brother James. John married Margaret Grimes of Washington Co., Md on Feb. 26, 1810 in Frederick Co., MD. They settled in Fayette Co., Pa. John was a contractor on the National Pike and later on the Erie Canal. He later owned 3 farms in Georges Twp., Fayette Co., PA. Margaret died 1868, John 1869, buried Uniontown, PA. John was very active supporter of Catholic Church in Uniontown.
