She was listed as Margaret Davis, she married Monroe Snodgrass in 1873 in Illinois. She was born 1856, died 1877. That means she married at 17, died at 21. I still don't know how she died (maybe in childbirth) or who her parents were.

Mary Margaret Jane Davis was born in 1856 and died in 1877, one year after giving birth to Andrew Sherman Snodgrass. Jonathan Monroe Snodgrass was her husband. I know she died in Dewitt Co., Illinois. I don't know when she was born.

I emailed the Snodgrass Society and got a very cold, abrupt response. I'm very disappointed in their attitude towards family researchers. I don't know how they get members with an attitude like that! So, in response, thankyou, Mr Snodgrass, for all your help.

Sarah Elizabeth PIPER was born in 1882. Her first marriage was to a man surnamed HAGGAR. They had one child (I have no other info on this child) and was widowed. She then married Andrew Sherman Snodgrass. This is their family:

I found a pedigree chart that shows William named his daughter Mary Elizabeth, could he be my Mary Ricketts brother? The place of birth, and the names are a close match.

Mary Elizabeth RICKETTS was born in 1786 in Anson Co. N.C. She married Nimrod SANDERS and had a very large family (see my earlier post for their names). This is all the information I have on her. Does anyone else have Rickett family members from North Carolina in the 1700's?
