Looking for Parmelia Andrews

Through Census records I found Parmelia Andrews, married to John Cole, b. 16 Jun 1808, m. 1827, d. 10 Sep 1858. In 1828, she had Elizabeth (or adopted her husbands sister, jury's still out on that one!) Cole. They were married in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; but I believe she may have been born in South Carolina. Sound familiar?

Luvicy's Family?

Luvicy WARLICK was born in 1818, in Cleveland Co., North Carolina. I decided to take a stroll through Find A Grave. There I found Abram WARLICK b. 1816, d. 1889 in Cleveland Co., North Carolina. A relative, brother maybe? Then I found Absalom WARLICK, b. 1785, d. 1873. His wife was Sallie WARLICK b. 1783, d. 1856, in the same county. Could these be her parents? Census search coming up!

Ballykilcline Website-HANLEY

There are three HANLEY families on the list of families evicted from Ballykilcline, Roscommon, Ireland. Of those families, there were several Marys, but none of them matched mine. Maybe she was a relative? This is a great website, loads of info.

Patrick and Mary update

I found out Mary's maiden name was HANLEY. She was born in Ireland about 1815, Married Patrick GINTY, OR MCGINTY, OR GUINTY. I am unsure of the surname because the name was changed (or misspelled by census takers). There is a GINTY or GUINTY sept in Ireland, around Donegal, which I believe my family is from. I've tried all kinds of searches of names in Ireland and found thousands of Patrick Mcginty's and Patrick Ginty's. I need to find one who was born about 1810, and married Mary Hanley.

Having trouble tracing my original Irish ggggrandparents.

I cannot find the name of the ship they came over on, or where exactly where they are from. They arrived in America in 1847, and any record I can find says Sligo as their origin. But I have found out that it was actually the last port. How do I find them? Their name was Ginty, or Guinty, or Mcginty. The parents died of Cholera in the early 1850's, and their youngest child was born in Illinois, 1849? Their names were Patrick and Mary Ginty, Mary's maiden name was Hanley. The oldest record I have for them was an 1850 census record in LaSalle, Ill. Patrick is listed as age 40, born in Ireland. Mary is listed as 35, also born in Ireland. I don't subscribe to any pay sites, so I have limited access to online records. I would really appreciate the help!
