G'Day Everyone
I am hoping someone in this site can help me make a connections to the family of a Patrick Fannon who was born c1823/24 in the Parish of Drum, in or near the town of Athlone, Co Roscommon. He joined the Army in Galway aged 17yrs, serving in Nth America, Gibralter and the West Indies. He came out to Australia as a Pentioner Guard aboard the "Vimiera" 22 Dec 1865 with I believe his wife Mary Lyons ( b c1838 in Dublin??) and two sons, Martin b c1863 & Michael b c1865. They went on to have the following children that I know of.
James Bernard b 4 Nov 1867 (my gr grandfather), Robert b c1869, Francis b c1874, Mary Terese b c1876, Patrick b c1878, & Bernard b c1881.
I would dearly love to find anything on either Patrick or Mary re siblings and/or parents.

Hi All
I am hoping someone in this site may be able to help me find any connection to my g g grandparents.
I believe Joseph Cable B C1815 and Jane Murphy (or Mary Jane) had the following children:-
William Henry (Harry) b c1847, John b c1849 (my g grandfather), Elizabeth b c1851, Mary Jane b c1857 (my g grandmother), Joseph b c1860, Ernest ? b c1861, Edward b c1865 and possibly others that I'm not sure of?? John had a daughter, Grace, and Mary had a son Arthur. Grace & Arthur ( my grand parents) married even though they were 1st cousins!! I believe that Joseph and his wife came out to Australia with two sons, William & John aboard the "William Hammond" in 1856. I have John as being born in Manchester?? He married an Emma Povah 1876 in Greenough, Western Australia. (I believe Emma was born as Mary L Barnard & adopted by a Peter Povah and his wife??)
I would love to be able to find any family of Joseph or Jane re siblings and/or parents.
If anyone in here can help me or suggest where to look, I would be very appreciative.

I am hoping someone can help me find and/or confirm any info re siblings and/or parents to my Mary. I have her parents as Michael Leary & Margaret Driscoll. I would love to be able to confirm this and find her siblings if any. If her parents are correct I would then like any info on them re siblings and/or parents. I believe Mary was born in or near London but not 100% sure on this. Mary married a John Reid in Gympie, Queensland, Australia in 1890, so would like to find out how and when she and her parents came to Australia. Not asking much I know
I would appreciate any help or suggestions re the above.

I am looking for any info on my g g grandparents Alexander Reid & Annie Edward. I believe Alex's parents are Alex Reid & Jean MacKenzie and Annie's parents are Thomas Edward & Betty Duncan. I would love to be able to confirm this and find any siblings to Alex and Annie. If their parents are correct, I would love to be able to find any other family to them also. I know Alex & Annie's son John married a Mary Ann Elizabeth Leary in 1890 in Gympie, Queensland, Australia in 1890. But I do not know when and how the family arrived here. I have John as being born Alyth, Perthshire.
I believe John & Mary had the following children:-
James Alexander b Qld 21/4/1891, Mary b Qld 16/7/1893, John Hendry b Fremantle WA c1904, Maggie (Margaret??) WA ,William WA, Thomas WA and Kitty?? WA
If you can help in anyway with any of the above, please contact me. I would really appreciate it.
