we are direct descendants of daniel dean and his first wife mary smart. what we don't know is who his parents and family are. does he have any brothers - sisters - were they immigrants? the censuses before 1850 were just tickmarks on a sheet of paper. 1850 is where we first found daniel dean valentine and mary elizabeth smart. we do know more about her parents and siblings than about daniel. can anyone out there help us?
