UK Outward Passenger list 1890-1960 lists Mary (32) and Effie Brand (2) onboard a ship named Rubian, headed for Durban, date of departure 9 Oct 1891 from Southampton. Marriage certificates of Effie's sister Mary Brand to Peter Greig in Durban 1923 show that Mary (mother was a widow at time of marriage). One of the witnesses was a Louise Brand who may be a relative?

Looking for any other source documents for Effie (born about 1889) to support the events of her life. She wrote a letter for her family stating that she married trice, (1) married 7 Oct 1907 Joseph de Agostini - born in Italy, he was murdered in Durban 17 Jul 1920) (2) 2 Jun 1920 (family says the year is incorrect?) John Brand - he died in a car accident 2 hours after the wedding so marriage was annuled. (3) 19 Nov 1941 in Que que, Rhodesia, (now called Kwekwe, Zimbabwe) Cyril Johnson. [Effie's grandson said that 3 marriage was never preformed according to law of land however Effie's letter states otherwise and gives a date. Effie died in Rhodesia, (now Zimbabwe), its presumed in same place she married.

Mary (born about 1858). Looking for details of middle name and maiden name, record of birth, marriage records, spouse name, parents names, siblings, death date and place. There is a grave for a Mary Janet Brand at Red Hill Cemetery, Standford Hill in Durban South Africa which may be connected. Date of death is 31 Aug 1912, Buried 1 Sept. (nee Mary Lewis)

Looking for details of William Trannick born 19 May 1938, Krugersdorp, South Africa; Robert Bilton Quick, born 23 May 1944, Krugersdorp South Africa and Michael Keith Quick, born 6 Sept 1954 at Robinson Hospital near Krugersdorp, South Africa. Sons of and William Trannick Quick and Jessie Ellen Bilton. Sister has lost touch with them and would like to reconnect with them and their families. Any help or updates on their family would be greatly appreciated.

Dorothy Dinsdale Mitchinson, daughter to Annie Disdale and John William Mitchinson, was born 1897 Gateshead, Durham, England. Dorothy moved to Canada in 1920 and a year later married Francis (Frank) Peacock on 1 June 1921. There is a departure record stating that Dorothy returned to England in 1952 at the age of 55. Also on the departure record is recorded that Dorothy had 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl.

I am trying to find some more information about Frank and the children who may have been born in Canada.

Mary Louisa Blechynden married Christopher Patrick Conway between Jul-Sept 1887, Brentford, Middlesex, England. They had at least 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. The daughter was named Kathleen Maria Conway, born 1898.

I am looking for any details of their parents or children as I would like to try and trace Blechynden and Conway line.
