LDay on Family Tree Circles

I am looking for the parents of both John Day and his wife Eleanor Caroline Jervis, they got married in 12 Feb 1872 St Pauls Church, Wanganui.

I do not think either John or Eleanor were born in New Zealand but have been unable to trace them back. I have a copy of their marriage Lic, but it has no details of their parents on it.

I believe they had the following children: Eleanor Caroline Day born 1873 - John Day born 1876 - Arthur Day born 1878 and Charles Day born 1882.

Eleanor Caroline Day Nee Jervis, used different names at different times, including Eleanor, Caroline, Ellen, and Helena Caroline. I believe she was born in England 1848/1849. John Day I think was also born in England but I am unsure about his age - if I go on his marriage lic he was the same age as Eleanor making him born in 1848/1849 but from the age on his death notice it makes him born about 1831.
