I am looking for the parents of James Martin Campbell. He was b. in 1818. In 1844 he m. Margaret Jane Sortore. Thier first daughter,Sarah Ann was b.1845 in Crawford Co. Pa. Margaret(1848-1849),Mary Jane(1850) and Florinda(1853) were b. in Montrose,Lee,Iowa. Nancy(1855),Elisa(1858), and Ulysses William- my ggrandfather- b.1861 in Sullivan Co,Missouri. The family stayed in Sullivan Co. James d. in 1896 and is buried in Hawkeye Cemetery. There was a William Campbell in Venango Co., Pa and may be the father. Does anyone know about this family?
