hi my name is violet moore, and i am looking for the family known as the mcgowan. all i know is that they came from irland i think.and my great grandmother might be cherokee, and then i am not for sure about that. i have a couisn thay wrote me and said that she was cherokee and that my grandmother was half cherokee. so if anyone knows about them please email me ay littlefalcon472000@yhoo.com and i need all the help you can give. its been taking me about six years to try to fine them. and again thank you for this web site.

i am violet moore and i just found out that my grandmother was half cherokee and my grandfather was irish.and she had a couisn that was in oklahoma reservation land.dont know his name but he might be a mcgowan. and now my great grandmother was full cherokee so now maybe some one will know something about them out there.i sure hope so i have been looking for her family for about six years now and cant fine them know where . now i wrote to germantown tenn genealogical society and they sent me some paper work on them but not for sure they are kin to the family i am looking for. now a lot of them came from rutherford co. tenn but dont know if thats where my family came from. so if anyone can help thank you for all you have done for me violet moore.

hi its me again littlefalcon. i just found out that the nadys had a church named nady church of nazaiene from nady post ark if anyone finds it please post it for me thank you violet.

yes i put some information about the nadys and i found out that my dad was married to a woman name ona mae nady inforest city ark.and then my older sister told me that my grandmother was mattie nady and not fannie irby. so now i am right back where i frist started not knowing where we came from now if anyone knows about this woman that my dad married before he married my mother that would help all i know about this lady is she had twins and she might have died. i know that my father had two brothers and not sisters that i know off. the woman name is ona right from forest city ark.so if anyone can fine out that would be great. and maybe get a copy of the marrage paper that would help me because i live on a fix income and cant eford to get all the paper work. and again i want thank you for this web site it help me alot.

AND I HAVE SOME INFORMATION ON SOME OF THEM.THE COUNTY OF ARK SENT ME SOME PAPER WORK ON THEM BUT NOTHING I COULD GET OR USE.THE CENSUS RECORDS ARE FROM 1920 AND FOR 1880 AND 1900 AND 1910 AND I NOTHAT MY DAD LIVED WITH ONE OF HIS BROTHERS IN DESHA COUNTY RED FORK TOWNSHIP IN ARK.
