Seeking info on William Lockland . Married to Clara Millicent Venn. Lived in Victoria Aust. Lived in Ararat Victoria from about 1913 . Clara Venn Buried Ararat Cementry 1939. Little is known of William Lockland
I am seek conformation of the wedding of Clara Millicent Venn of Bordertown (South Australia)to either William Lockland or also said to be William Lochland in October 1906.
There are variations to suggest she actually never married. She lived in several Victorian towns ,from 1909 to 1939.
Clara had 5 children . My father William jr Was born in Carlton in 1908. His name is recorded as William Lochlin.Two years later it was changed to William Lockland
There was a William Henry Lochland listed in Melbourne in 1900's. He was in France with A.I F when Clara Lockland had three of her children ,this seems to rule out him as father.
I am seeking any confirmation or suggestions any members may have.
