lolly on Family Tree Circles

My great grandfather was David W. Bolin and he was married to Josephine Knotts in 1847 in Jackson VA. Josephine was born in Jamesport,Mo.in 1847. They had 6 children: Ellen Savannah 1868, Wm.Alexander 1870, Luke Wiseman 1872(born in Arkansas), George Washington 1874, Mary Charlotte 1876, and my grandfather John Henry Bolin 1877(born in Oseola, Iowa). They seem to have moved from Virginia, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas,and last Minnesota. I have been searching for quite awhile and can find NO info on David W. Bolin. Sometimes the spelling in census is Bullin. And now we all go by Bolen. I would like to know who David W. Bolin's parents were. Does anyone out there reconize any of names in this Bolin Family?
I have lots of history on my grandma Laura Masters Bolin if anyone needs any.
