Nathanial Smalley of Penn.
I am looking for the parents of Nathanial Smalley born 1813
in Bethlemen, Washington Co., Penn. He was first married to Rachel
Smith by whom he had 5 children. She passed away in the late 1840s'.
He then married Mary Panter Lambert in 1850 and they had 2 or 3
Children. They moved to Ill. Then he moved to Iowa where he
ppassed away.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel in limbo since
I can't connect with my earlier Smalley line. My line is thru
John Smalley. My brother took the DNA which proved it.
Thank You,
Margaret Smalley Parnell
Joe Wiley Parnell Family
I am looking for any ancestors of Joe Wiley Parnell. He was born
in 1900. He married Jewel Deering Parnell in Texas. He had 3 children. He lived in Pampa, Gray, Texas. He passed away in Pampa
in 1971.
My husband, R.C. Parnell, knows very little about his father
except that his father lied about his age so that he could enter WWI.
He served in the trenches. He never went back to his Parnell family.
He never told his wife or children about his other Parnell family.
I am looking for the parents of Edward Small/Smalley born in 1600 in...
I am looking for the parents of Edward Small/Smalley born in 1600
in Bidesford, Devon, England. I have researched several sources and
have gotten confused. Several have stated that Sir Walter Raleigh was
his father and Elizabeth Throckmorton was his mother. Edward is not
listed as a child in other sources. But I read that he changed Edward
and his brother, John Small/Smalley, to protect them. It is strange that Walter had 2 other sons whose last names weren't changed. I sure
would appreciate any help to get this straighten out.
I am also looking for information on my direct Smalley line. It begins with Ralph Elmer Smalley born in Sioux City, Iowa in 1913. He is my father. He moved to Texas during the late 1930s. He met and
married my mother in 1938. I was born in 1939.
Then, there was Elmer Rhodes Smalley(1873)-Illinois
Elmore S. Smalley(1845)-Pennsylvania
Nathanial Smalley(1814)-Penn. He had a son,(Reuben S. Smalley), who won the Congressional Medal of Honor in the Civil War.
Isiah Smalley(1790)-New York
Zachariah Smalley(1760)-Conn.
James Smalley(1707)-Mass.
James Smalley(1736)-Conn.
Benjamin Smalley(1664)-Maine
Francis Small/Smalley(1625)-England
Edward Small/Smalley
