William Kingston b. 1829 Hurstbourne, Hampshire

William Kingston married my ggg grandmother Ellen McGreal in Andover in 1855. He was a soldier in the 49th regiment and was a widower on his marriage to Ellen.

He was born c. 1829 in hurstbourne, Hampshire and I would love to know more about his background and first wife.

Looking for LONERGANs from Donohill, Tipperary

Andrew Lonergan was born in 1873 in Tipperary where he served in the Royal Artillery. He married Bridget Bourke in Manchester in 1896. They had five (I think!) daughters, 2 of whom died very young. Andrew died in 1904.

I would love to know about his background and how he came to be in Manchester.

Looking for McGREALs from County Mayo

My ggg grandmother Eleanor McGreal was born in Oughaval, County Mayo c. 1826. Her father was listed on her (second) marriage certificate as Arthur, occupation blacksmith but I have been unsuccessful in finding him on any census.

Looking for HOUGHs in Lancashire

My ggg grandfather Richard Hough was born in Chorley c. 1798 and died in the Bolton workhouse in 1882. He was a brewer by trade and entered the workhouse in 1879 due to destitution.

There is some debate as to who his parents are and some researchers make links to a Dutch line. The problem is the HOUGH name is quite common in Lancashire and there seem to be several different branches.

Looking for GOATER connections

My main GOATER line seems to be in Sparsholt, Hampshire and surrounding areas. I am also trying to make links with different branches of the line in Nottingham and London and also trying to connect some Australian and New York branches.
