Valentine and Margaret Cook

Looking for Valentine Cook. Born 1800, died 1850s. Quite an adventurous soul. Was with the Royal Marines, and served in the mediterrean. Married in 1823, he had a few children. His wife was Margaret McMullen. Would appreciate any information available. Would like to know more about Margaret. There was no hint at parentage, she would have been the same age. 1841 census limitations says no to either being born in Hampshire where they were at the time.

Rumneys of Manorgill, Forest & Frith, Durham

Would like to know if anyone else is researching the Rumneys. They lived at Manorgill for almost a century. Would like to know more about them other than the information from parish registers. Also Henry Mansfield born 1860, in Yorkshire, father of Elizabeth who married William Rumney in 1903.

BOLTER AND GARSTONE OF HEREFORDSHIRE

Looking for info on family of Bolter. Lived in Abbeydore, Herefordshire between 1820's up to about 1880. 1881 census has them living (minus father) in Beaufort, Breconshire. They lived in the same house for 50 odd years. A cottage Llanwerin or Blackbush cottage, Abbeydore. Any info would be appreaciated. Father's name John born in 1820's married Hannah GARSTONE of Hereford town in 1849. She was born 1829ish. Daughter of Cabinet maker James Garstone. No info found, he is said to have died before they married. John Bolter's father was also a John, and his father was a William. Prior to around 1786 there is no mention of a William and Mary his wife other that the baptism entry for their son. Where did they come from? Any info appreciated.

Looking for APPERLEY/APPERLEY of Newent, Gloucestershire, England, and also Monmouthshire, Wales.

Any info would be apprieciated on William Apperley, born 1832, newent, gloucestershire. Married 3 times. second wife Charlotte WOOD, also of newent, gloucestershire. They made their way across gloucestershire and into Glamorgan around 1881, then back to monmouthshire and settled there. Only a small handful of their numerous children have appeared on the censuses. But information suggests that they had quite a few. Any info would be appreciated.

Also looking for information on two brothers George and John Wardel Brenchley.

Looking for info on two brothers. George and John. They were half brothers to my grandmother Lucy, and they are said to have gone abroad. George had been a sailor, and his brother helped out his stepfather until his death in 1906. They were still in england up to around 1920, but after that vanished, said to have gone abroad. Anyone know anything about them. They may have split up and gone in opposite directions. They will probably have dropped the Brenchley name which was their mothers. So far their have been too numerous entries to work out if they served in the british army/navy during the first world war. But the 1911 census suggests that they both married.
