Looking for chief Joseph of Cherokee Nation
Catherine daughter of Chief Joseph of Cherokee Nation b 1780 in Virginia. d 6 Aug 1858 in Macon Co., TN. She married Charles Marsh b 1764in North Carolina, d 11 Oct 1859 in Macon Co., TN. S/o Robert Marsh b 1724 d 1809 in Chatham Co., North Carolina. S/O James Marsh b 1688 in Plainfield, CT.[This information about who Robert's father was seems to be controversial]According to DNA testing the CT. MARSH branch does don't match the DNA findings for the TN, & NC marsh branch. After much research I find, James Marsh b 1688 in CT., is the father of Robert Marsh who was born in NC.From records I have seen, James born in CT. but all his children born in NC. How can DNA records show we are not descendants of James? I am so confused to say the least. Can anyone help me?

Searching for records of both Edmund &Susannah buckley's parents. This couple did come to America to Philadelphia, PA.

Married to Mary LNU. She was b ABT 1746 in same location.
They had a child born to them-Thomas b14 Apr 1771 in Treslander Shropshire, England. Christened 14 Apr 1771 in Lydham. married Mary Bromwell b ABT 1776 in Trehilig Welshpool, Montgomery, Wales. They had a child- Thomas E b May 1796 in St Mary's, Welshpool, Montgomery, Wales.
Christened Jun 1796 in Forden Parish, Montgomery, Wales. d 2 Dec 1891 in Fanning, doniphan Co., Kansas. Wife of Thomas E was Phoebe Knox or Nokes b 3 Nov 1804. Thomas & Phoebe sailed to America with their children, when arriving in the port at New Orleans they headed up the Mississippi River on the ship Maraduke. When they arrived in St. Louis, Missouri, Phoebe and most of their children had died of cholera. Phoebe is buried at the mouth of the Missouri river on the bank. When they arrived in St Joseph, Missouri, the Capt died and the ship could not go any further. Thomas E and 3 sons got off the ship and stayed in StJoseph, MO. Thomas E was my husband's gt gt grandfather. I am searching hoping to find the parents of Edward Davies and information for any siblings. Help on this will be so appreciated, thanking you in advance.

John Erskine b 22 Nov 1785 in Winchester, N H. Looking for names of parents, siblings etc. Also was he married to Ashsah Jewell? A record says he was DOM 18 Sept 1806. Have a record showing 4 children born to them in Winchester, NH, their names; John, Madus, Diana & Phebe.

Erastus R Holdridge b BET 1824-1830 maybe in Herkimer Co., Salem, NY
d AFT 1872. S/o Charles Eldridge Holdridge b 13 Oct 1795 New London, CT.d 17 Dec 1871 in Herkimer Co., NY, Charles wife was Isabel Rathbone b 1795 D/o John Rathbun & Joanna Joslin.
Family records show Erastus was married to[first name may of been Ella] Jane Edwards, this is the only place I have seen her name listed. I have seen records showing he was married to Maria E Erskine b 17 Feb 1815 married to Erastus 3 Oct 1835 in Winchester, Cheshine, New Hampshire. Maria was d/o John Erskine & Achsah Jewell.
I believe Erastus & Jane had a daughter, her name being, Mary Jane Holdridge b 14 Mar 1844 in Fernwood, NY d 20 Nov 1930. Mary Jane was baptized in the United Methodist Episcolpal Church in Fernwood.

I have been unable to find any information for Content Fish. Except what I have above statement.
