My husband is a gt gt grandson of John Harmon, we know of one son of John Harmon, that being King Emmanuel Harmon b 11 Aug 1841 in Marysville, Union Co., Ohio. d 19 Dec 1912 in Fairview, Major Co., Oklahoma. [nearly all of this information obtained from King Emmanuel Harmon death certificate]
The children King Emmanuel fathered were: John Sullivan b 15 Aug 1861;
Rebecca Jane "Jeanie" b 19 Jul 1864; Wallace b 1866 d 1877;Flora Alice

Is there anyone here who might be a descendant of this family that might have information of John Harmon?? Or of Mary Kuntz?
I would like to follow the family back as far as we can, who are the parents of John, King Emmanuel, who were the siblings of both men?
I have hit a brick wall.

Hello; I am a descendant of the McNett family. Starts with Samuel McNitt b 1792 if I remember right. My Dad's mother was Rosa McNett who married Everett Sommers. My Mothers grandmother was Flora McNett [Rosa's sister] So I got a double dose of the McNett genes.
They seem to be a family hard to trace. What branch of the McNett tree do you come from?
Would like to hear back.

Phoebe was d/o Jacob Derwacter b ABT 1770 in York Co., PA & Catherine Wyant/Weigandt/Wion. Jacob & Catherine were married in PA.

Alfred Selix and Phoebe Derwater had a daughter, Mary Ann Selix b 1841 in Ohio and married King Emanuel Harmon[this King E.Harmon was my husbands gt grandfather] King and Mary Ann had a daughter Margaret Mary "Maggie" Harmon who married Shelby A Davies.

Now I have come across the name-JOHN DERWATER HARMON, I am thinking he surely must fit in this some where,now to find where he fits,,, is anyone have any idea about this name? Are you a family member or maybe this name in your files?
I would really like some help with this, if you know anything at all please email me, thanking you in advance.

Eugenia J Duez/Duetz while others say it is Duhay. This is my gt gt grandmother b 1832 in Lille, Nord,Nord-Pas-de-Calais France.[This location is in the northern part of France] d 6 Mar 1901 in Cloud Co., Kansas.
The d/o Louis Duez b [some source says 1807] in Flines, Lez Rache, Nord, France. I found from a french person who did some research for me in France, information for her mother was Poline Delmarquette. When Eugenia was a very small child, the mother passed leaving the father to care for Eugenia. He took her to Paris to a convent for orphaned children. When she was about 16 years old, she ran away due to hating this place. She sailed to America and the ship docked at the Boston Harbour. After marrying a man by the name of Longuet, he died and she then married Medard Bourgeois.
Anyone related to Duetz/Duez I would be interested in hearing from you.
Sorry I could not of known her.
