James Jeffrey born in Chillingham Northumberland in 1805. Worked as a blacksmith at Chillingham Castle as did his forefathers from 1780's. He was known to be in London in 1826.
He migrated to Australia in 1840's married Eleanor Brown and settled in Braidwood NSW where they raised their family.
What I am chasing is the ship that brought James to Australia and any information as to his life from the time he left Chilllingham to when he arrived in Australia.
