Peter & Jane had 5 boys: John, Peter, William, Robert & Archibald, b. 1800 to 1817. Peter died & Jane brought her 5 boys to Sorel, Quebec, Canada about 1820, where she already had relatives & property.(John married Nellie Chisholm in 1820 in Que.)

Alexander Connolly & Jane Sinclair/William Ralston & Matilda Connolly were my husband's ancestors. Have lots of info/photos to share. Anybody know about their coming to Canada about 1820? Wm Ralston's family were from Eaglesham, Renfrew, Scotland, Alex. Connolly's from Ulster, Ireland.
