munchie on Family Tree Circles

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Saint Pierre and Miquelon Islands and how the people came over say around the year 1899. My grandfather was Emile Alexandre Bernier and he was supposed to be born in saint pierre and miquelon islands but it also says on his border crossing card that he was in Montreal from infancy to 24 years. This was listed on his border crossing card comming back over to Canada from working in Michigan, USA. So I am always open to suggestiond. Thanks Munchie

Hi everyone out there I am new to your little community on the big world on the web so I would like to introduce myself as Munchie. I have been doing genealogy for some time and have been hitting some brick walls. As for my family information alot of it is unknown because I don't know. Meaning for whatever reason no one kept up on the family history to record for their generations to come after them to share.
