natashia on Family Tree Circles

I'm Natashia and I'm hoping to find more information or relatives of my grandmother, Bettina (Marie) Bonhomme born in 1896 from Port Louis, mauritius and migrated to South Africa. Can't find much info on her as I was told she came over on a 'sugar boat' (does that mean that she came illegally?? or would there be shipping info??)She came with her brothers and sisters but her parents were left behind in mauritius. She then married Clement T Williams (my grandfather). Think I was told they married in their 20's like 26 so that would be 1922.

Does anyone know anything about the Bonhomme family in mauritius at all? Or can someone advise me where to look? Thanks :)
