nbutler on Family Tree Circles

My grandfather was richard butler, appaerently from ireland. Was in the british army in ww2. Went to germany post war and met my grand mother whose maiden name was block ( she was german), My father was born in hamburg his name is also richard timothy butler. They moved to Australia post 1946. Not sure when. Just wanting to know if my grandfather was irish, i remember he had an accent but died wheni was young and can't remember it. He was a good man but sadly due to divorce i know nothing of him.
