Harriett BENGE married Charles PECK & Robert RELF

Charles Peck married HARRIETT BENGE in England and they emigrated to New Zealand on the Catherine Stewart Forbes, arriving in Wellington 24 June 1841
Charles was then 32 and Harriett was 26, & children George aged 10 & Sarah aged 8

Charles drowned in 1860 in a flash flood at Turakina, Wanganui, he was 51

Harriett remarried at the Episcopal Church on 25 June 1863 to Robert RELF, son of William RELF & Henrietta MEDHURST of Sussex
Evening Post, 15 June 1877 FUNERAL NOTICE The Friends of the late Mr Robert Relf are respectfully invited to attend his funeral - which will leave Mr Samuel Peck's residence, Nina, and proceed to the Taita Cemetery, on Saturday, 16th instant at 2 o'clock. JOHN HALL - Undertaker

I know nothing of HARRIETT BENGE and would like info on her, like her parents and siblings and any other children - can you help fill in the gaps ?
what happend to son George? who did he marry?

ERIC SAMUEL HUNTER - Lower Hutt NZ

Do you have any information on Eric Hunter? He was born 20th Aug. 1908 and married Frances Emmeline Peck 'EM' on 1928.
All I know is on the tree here HUNTER:Eric
I would like to know his parents names and where they were from, NZ or elsewhere.
I know he had 2 brothers, 1 named Jacky and 1 sister.
He and his brothers trained race horses (trotters) but that is all I know.
Would appreciate anything you know - date of death, etc.

If you are looking for the surname STENT

There are now 79 Stents on the Peck tree - direct descendents of Samuel Peck.
Most of them settled in some of the more remote areas of the Manawatu in New Zealand
If you want to check it out, go to - STENT

PECKs

do you have any further information on her please and were there any children?

* UPDATE* on - SOPHIA MABEY left behind in W.A.

On the passenger list of the barque "OLYMPUS" arriving Wellington 20-4-1841 from London, the entry under the MABEY family says that "Sophia 10 years left behind W.A."
PASSENGER LIST for OLYMPUS

Does anyone know what that means ?

I cannot find the OLYMPUS arriving in W.A.
(what I ASSUME to be West Australia) in 1841 to drop her off.

*UPDATE* - Apparently Sophie died during the voyage and was buried at sea 'off the coast of West Africa'
