William Randall Adams born about 1849 in Alabama. His father was born in Mississipi and his mother was born in Alabama. Second marriage to Emma Olive Mathews, who was married once before to a Moreland. Died in Turkey, Texas about 1930.

William had three children, William,Thad and Eva (Evvy) when he married my great-grandmother Emma Olive Mathews Moreland. Emma had at least two children, Jonnie Lee Moreland and Nora Moreland, there may have been a boy. Together they had four daughters, Vera, Lilly, Ima and Maggie. Maggie Vesta Adams Twilla was my grand mother.

They lived in Field, New Mexico until about 1920 before they moving to Texas.
