Samuel Dixon was born in 1840 in Dalton in Furness Lancashire England.

From the census it would appear that is father is John Dixon born c 1790 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, England.

His mother is listed as Margaret or Margrett born 1801 Dalton In Furness. I cannot find their marriage.

Their eldest child Jane on the 1840 census was born in 1830 so would expect the marriage to be before then. All children born Dalton except Jane she was born in Urswick, Lancashire, England

I am looking for Harry Hanslow and Emily Beer's Grandchildren and G/Grandchildren plus Emily Beer's parents.

All the above research as been done from the UK so may not be 100% correct.

Any Hanslow(s) related to Peter or James Hanslow convicts sent to Australia in 1818 and1823 respectively.

Any Hanslow that when to the Victoria area of Australia between 1850-1900
