hi im looking for any infomation on how the YORKE family name came to NZ its not really a common name here in NZ so I wonder if anybody has any infomation? also where does the name originate from? is there a Welsh connection?

I am a decendant of Sarah Anne KETTLE and Llewelyn WILLIAMS they are my great great grandparents who came out to NZ on the first steam ship the S.S DORIC in 1885 if there is any body out ther who has any infomation id be verry grateful as im reseaching my family tree. also my great great grandmother Sarah had two sisters who proceeded her to NZ I do not have first names but know that one became Mrs SKELLEN and the other became Mrs FLEET who both settled in the KAWAKAWA area in Northland NZ
